The Q challenged us to write about "Grey", so here's my contribution:

Grey

Shadows hiding
within the light
unseen, unheard
felt

Grey permeated
the dense fog
like the smoke
of a great forest fire.
Within it's depths
came the screams
of a thousand lives.
Caught.
Trapped
inside their demise.
